Virtual Balloon Races

This is your company's opportunity to sponsor "virtual balloons" in all or any of Shine's 10 Virtual Balloon Races held each year.

Why Virtual Balloon Races?

Shine has stopped real balloon launches due to environmental concerns over pieces of balloon being mistaken for food by marine animals and fish, so ALL future races will be virtual, on-line, computer-generated and interactive. More fun to take part and no damage to the environment!

For a small cost, which goes to help support people with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, you can design and back a balloon to travel the furthest in one or more of our 10 races each year.

The winning balloon will win a case of wine for its sponsor - real wine, not virtual!

Last year Shine made over 5,000 home visits, and our Support and Development Workers are an invaluable lifeline to the 15,000 babies, children and families with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus in the UK.
