The Great North Run is an iconic, and often a bucket list event that starts in Newcastle and finishes along the seafront at South Shields. Famous for its fantastic atmosphere, great on-route entertainment and a very warm welcome from the crowds of spectators, this is an event not to miss.
Take part alongside 57,000 other runners in this 13.1 mile half marathon. You'll run through the buzzing streets of Newcastle, over the famous Tyne Bridge and head to the seafront finish at South Shields.
