Experience the atmosphere of the Great Birmingham with this event!

Who said grown-ups should have all the fun?

The AJ Bell Junior and Mini Great Birmingham Run sees our smallest runners (aged 3-8) take on a 1.5km dash, while Junior runners (aged 9-15) tackle a supercharged 2.5km sprint.

With a city centre start and finish and the same distinctive carnival atmosphere as the main event, the next generation of athletes will be off to a flying start.

See photos from last year's event here.

On top of lots of high fives and cheering supporters and an incredible sense of achievement, all runners will get:

  • A t-shirt to run in and a shiny medal to show to all of your friends
  • Spot prizes for best fancy dress
  • Edible treats when you cross the finish line
  • A safe, secure and fun filled route
  • Bragging rights of being part of the biggest and best kids running events.
