Since the inaugural event in 2013, the event has just got bigger and bigger and every year, thousands of runners of all abilities take to its truly breathtaking course.
Part of the Yorkshire Marathon Festival this event has a fantastic atmosphere for you to enjoy.
Starting from the University of York, you'll run you through the centre of this historic city, past landmarks such as York Minster and then out into scenic countryside and through picturesque villages. You’ll be supported along the way by cheering locals, who come out in force.
