The government have introduced a three-tier coronavirus alert system for England that depends on the number of cases in your area and on how fast cases are rising.

What you should and shouldn’t do depends on the alert level in your area which you can find out on the government website by entering your postcode.

Additional advice has been produced at each alert level for people who are clinically extremely vulnerable to coronavirus, who were previously shielding. 

The government website has more detailed information and guidance about the local COVID-19 alert levels and about shielding and protecting extremely vulnerable persons from COVID- 19

Lockdown restrictions apply in some areas of Wales, the government website has details of the local lockdown restrictions by area. The firebreak lockdown details are also available on the government website explaining the plans for the national lockdown that will start from 6pm on Friday 23rd of October and run till Monday 9th November.

The government website in Northern Ireland has information about what coronavirus regulations and localised restrictions are in force, in addition the website contains details about the national lockdown restrictions which began on Friday the 16th of October and are planned to last for 4 weeks.
