More about triathlons

If you fancy a different kind of incredible challenge to raise money for Shine, then why not consider a Triathlon?

Triathlons combine three sports:

Swimming, cycling and running, which are done in succession of one another over various distances.

The popularity of triathlons has grown in recent years and now there are numerous organised events around the country for you to compete in.

If you get a place then why not use it as an opportunity to raise sponsorship and donate to Shine?

Different events have different entry levels, varying in distance, so there is something for everyone and for all abilities.

If you don't fancy doing it on your own then some events will let you enter as a team of three and do a leg each!

If you would like to compete for Shine get in contact and let us know which event you will be doing.

We can then supply you a sponsorship pack, running vest or t-shirt and plenty of hints and tips about fundraising.
