Working Tax Credit - Disability element

To claim this benefit you need to work at least 16 hours a week and you have to satisfy two other tests, relating firstly to your disability (you must have a ‘physical or mental disability which puts [you] at a disadvantage in getting a job’) and you must be in receipt of a qualifying benefit.

Working Tax Credit is being replaced by Universal Credit for new claimants. Please get advice from Shine before applying.

For existing claimants, if your circumstances are changing or you want information regarding the impact of Covid 19, please contact Shine.
