Sign up & SAVE THE DAY for one SUPER fundraising event at the Winter Wonderwheels – powered by Marvel! 

As official Charity Friends of the Superhero Series, the UK’s one and only disability sports series, #TeamShine are calling all superheroes to unite with friends and family to cycle, walk, run, push or anything in between around one of three scenic lakeside distances.  

Who can enter? 

Anyone can join the fun. All we ask is that at least one person per team considers themselves to have a disability (of any kind). 

For this challenge, we need each individual participant to pay the registration fee and agree to the sponsorship pledge above.  

 
Choose your challenge! 

Unite with friends and family to cycle, walk, run, push or anything in between around one of three scenic lakeside distances. Anything goes!  

• Lakeside Dash (1km) 
• Once Round the Lake (5km) 
• Twice Round the Lake (10km) 

Why this event is so super!  

These super fun challenges let people with disabilities – AKA Superheroes – call the shots. There are no cut-off times and all types of ‘gadgets and gismos’ are welcome on the course! What’s more, you’ll get a chance to meet a whole host of stars from sport and screen who will be joining the action. Plus...

• All ages can take part 
• No cut-off times! 
• You can bring anything you need to help you complete the challenge; from adaptive bikes, trikes and buggies to powerchairs, blades, race runners and more.  
• Everyone is welcome to bring a ‘Sidekick’ to push, guide or simply accompany them around the course. 
• There’ll be fake snow, carol singing, festive fayre, interactive entertainment and even an appearance from Father Christmas himself in the Superhero Village!
