Staying Well in Winter

As we head into winter we are aware this can become a more expensive time of year with higher fuel costs and Christmas around the corner, and this year this is combined with the general rise in the cost of fuel, food and petrol. We're also aware that as the days get shorter and the weather gets colder this can be a tricky time of year for many, for a range of reasons.

That is why from November - February we are running our ‘Staying Well in Winter’ initiative to provide our members with extra information and support during this time. This will include information on schemes that you may be eligible for, and information on keeping warm and safe, healthy eating, keeping active, health and well-being, and also cost-cutting ideas.

This information will be distributed via our Facebook and Twitter accounts, through an email newsletter in the new year, Zoom sessions in January and February, as well as a webpage on our website. Please do keep an eye out for this information. If you have ideas of what we can include please contact Katie at
