Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Bakewell Showground, this trail hiking event offers three incredible route options: Half Marathon, 15K, and 9.5K, each taking you on a journey through some of the most spectacular landscapes in the Peak District.
Your adventure begins on the iconic Monsal Trail, a gentle and scenic path following the tranquil River Derwent, with the majestic Chatsworth House standing proudly in the distance. As you continue, the route meanders through rolling countryside, guiding you past the charming village of Edensor, where sweeping panoramic views open up before you.
A gentle descent leads to a final, rewarding climb into the peaceful Manners Wood, where you’ll be immersed in nature before the final stretch brings you back to a triumphant finish at Bakewell Showground.
Whether you're embracing the challenge of the Half Marathon distance (22km), enjoying the 15K, or opting for the scenic 9.5K, this event is the perfect opportunity to explore the Peak District at your own pace, taking in breathtaking views and reconnecting with nature.
