Are you a young person aged 13-16 with spina bifida, hydrocephalus or a shunt?

Do you want to learn how to speak up for your needs and feel more confident in advocating for yourself?

This four-week Zoom course is designed just for you!

What to Expect:

F.I.R.E’s Confidence Course will help you develop essential self-advocacy and assertiveness skills in a safe, supportive space.

Through engaging activities and discussions, you’ll learn how to communicate your needs clearly, set boundaries, and gain the confidence to speak up for yourself in different situations.

Course Details:

When: Wednesdays at 6:00 PM

Where: Online via Zoom

Important: There is an expectation to attend all 4 sessions to get the most out of the course.

By the end of the course, you’ll have the tools and confidence to advocate for yourself, whether it’s at school, at home, or in the community.
