Whether it will be your first marathon or you're out for a personal best - the fast and flat city centre course is one for you!

The minimum age to take part is 17 as of race day.

Charity places

Shine has a limited number of charity places available. Book your spot on the start line today by clicking ‘sign up now’. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so act fast to avoid disappointment.

If you have a general entry place in the race, we would love to have you as a part of #TeamShine!

With no minimum sponsorship pledge or registration fee, we simply ask you to raise as much as you can to support members and families affected by spina bifida and hydrocephalus. Plus, you'll have access to all the great benefits above.

Accessibility

The Great Runs are suitable for wheelchair entries - please see the FAQs on their website for more information.

If you are a wheelchair participant and you will require an assistant/pusher, it is possible for that person to have a free place. Once you've signed up for your own place, please contact us to let us know so that we can advise you about the next steps.
