Starting from Thirlmere, you'll set off at about 5pm, see the sunset after about one hour of walking, and then continue the climb to the summit of Helvellyn in the beautiful Lake District National Park on this adventure under the stars.
On this 4.5 mile guided walk, you can expect some glorious scenery, a sunset view as you walk up the mountain and an amazing starlit sky at the summit! Designated a Dark Skies Zone, imagine the view of those night skies!
Standing at 950 metres (3,117 feet), Helvellyn is one of the most beloved fells in the Lake District. Known for its dramatic ridges, panoramic views, and rich history, it attracts walkers from all over the UK and beyond.
You'll take part with a group of fellow walkers and be guided by a qualified, first aid-trained Mountain Leader provided by our partner Overlimits.
Suitable for families, individuals or groups of friends or work colleagues, it's an experience not to be missed.
