Embark on the legendary Lyke Wake Walk, an epic 40-mile hike, starting at 10pm on the Friday. Guided by moonlight and headtorches, you’ll trek through rugged moorland and steep hills from Osmotherley to Ravenscar, arriving Saturday afternoon.
Enjoy the experience and challenge of walking through the night, with some amazing scenery, including great swathes of purple heather on the Moors, to be enjoyed in daylight hours.
You'll traverse across the Yorkshire Moors National Park and finish at Ravenscar on the beautiful North Yorkshire coast.
This challenging journey is more than a hike - it’s a test of endurance and a celebration of tradition, with the aim to complete it in under 18 hours!
You'll join other like-minded walkers on this amazing guided trek and be supported by qualified, first-aid-trained guides provided by our partner Overlimits.

Please note - it is only possible to buy one ticket at a time. If you're signing up as a team, each person will need to purchase their own ticket.
What you'll get from us:
On the day
You will need to arrive at the start point in Osmotherley by about 9.30pm to complete your registration and have your briefing. You can expect to start walking between 10:00 and 10:10 pm.
After you finish, late on Saturday afternoon, at Ravenscar, you will be transported back to Osmotherley.
Parking is available at the start point.
This is a guided trek, and you'll be supported by a mountain leader provided by our event provider, Overlimits.

You will receive a kit list and other information about participating in the event after you have signed up.
Please note that no dogs are allowed to walk with you other than registered assistance dogs.
If you need to stay over in the area, we recommend booking your accommodation as soon as possible.
The free training walks offered will cover: kit needed, hill skills, pre-event prep and post-event recovery.
