The Robin Hood Half Marathon is one of the longest established and most popular city centre road events in the UK.

The course itself is great for runners of all abilities - whether you're a beginner, whose key objective is to complete the course, or you're a regular long distance event runner looking to beat your personal best time. It is a single lap, 13.1 mile (21.1km) traffic free course.

The race starts and finishes in Victoria Embankment and is undulating, so not all flat. There are a couple of inclines at the start of the route, whilst your legs are more up for it (Mile 2, 4 and 6)!

A picturesque route takes you along the Victoria Embankment and the River Trent, past Nottingham Castle, near the Robin Hood Statue, through the Nottingham Park Estate and through Wollaton Park where you're bound to spot some deer roaming. You'll finish at the Victoria Embankment Recreation Ground next to the River Trent.
