Celebrate and Shine! 

Despite another challenging year with so many of our volunteer activities being restricted or not happening at all, our Shine volunteers have stepped up, adapted and helped out ‘virtually’ wherever possible.  
From our charity shop volunteers in Swansea, our fundraisers, our social media volunteers, our peer support volunteers, our volunteers assisting our grants and foundations team to our awareness-raising Ambassadors, Shine are extremely grateful to all our volunteers and supporters, especially during the covid 19 pandemic and would like to say a HUGE BIG THANK YOU! 

Kate, our CEO says:  

"It never ceases to amaze me how many people give their time so willingly to help raise funds and create awareness of Shine and the work we do to support individuals and families whose lives have been affected by Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus.    

Volunteers’ week gives us the opportunity to put the spotlight on these very special people. 
Their dedication, generosity, knowledge and skills add value to the services Shine can provide and helps us go that extra mile to make a difference in the lives of babies, children, young people and adults living with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus, and associated conditions."
