Understanding Spina Bifida in Adulthood

5th November 2025

Our new resource - Understanding Spina Bifida in Adulthood - will soon be available to order!

Let us know you'd like a copy by filling in your details here, and we'll be in touch when it's available to buy.

This new resource is a comprehensive guide for individuals, families, and healthcare professionals. A great amount of planning, research and gathering contributions from experts in the fields of health and spina bifida has gone into making this guide possible.

A huge thank you must go to Shine’s Health Team (especially our Head of Health, Gill Yaz, who led on production) and our Health Advisory Panel who, between them, spent many hours writing, reviewing and quality assuring the information.

And of course, a thank you to all the Shine Members who responded to our survey and shared so much about their lives and the effects of living with spina bifida.
