Volunteers' Week - Celebrating Frances

As part of National Volunteers' Week we're celebrating some of the wonderful people who've supported Shine over the years by giving their time, skills or expertise to fundraise, plan and staff events or even contribute to the ongoing development of the charity.

Next up is Frances, a long time Shine volunteer based in the south of England.

What does she do as a volunteer:

Frances helps with Blue Blobbers adult social meetings. Frances gives up one Sunday every month to join the group in Central London. She assists Shine’s SDW with all aspects of the day and helps Shine members with travel, getting in and around the place being visited, offering a listening ear when needed and any kind of support that may be needed by our members on the day.
