Hours:                             Part time – 17.5 hours per week

Pattern of work:           2.5 Days per week to include Wednesday with occasional weekend and                                               evening working

Salary:                            £24,000 - £25,170 pro rata (dependent on experience)

If you want to work in a job where you can really make a difference to people’s lives, this may be the role for you.  An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Support and Development Worker.  It will be based in the SHSCT area. You will support, advise and empower people affected by Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus, through a variety of means.

Relevant experience in health, disabilities or the voluntary sector is essential.  It is likely you have previously worked with people who have physical disabilities or learning difficulties.

Shine places high value on enthusiasm and commitment to the cause, and for the right person this role will be extremely fulfilling.  The ability to be motivated and work on your own initiative with lone working from home, whilst also travelling across the SHSCT area to be part of the wider dispersed NI Team, is essential.
